About Catastrophic Soap Works

Catastrophic Soap Works is a little Hawaiian soap studio that aims to make reasonable soap for reasonable people. Our bars are handcrafted in our island studio by the most dedicated team of laboring cats imaginable. They put in countless hours of carefully measuring ingredients, sniffing fragrance oils, toppling the occasional tower of packaging supplies and napping on crucial paperwork, but their focus on quality can be… fluctuating at best.

We hand craft small batch soaps inspired by places we love around Hawaii, silly little things we love, and the things our cats have deemed important for that given week. The islands have nice beaches and stunning sunsets, but our time indoors usually involves intense discussions about fragrance combinations and brushing cat hair off absolutely everything.

We really believe a soap should do one thing well, that is; to wash you, and that's where it all stops for us. We're not selling you an all-expenses paid holiday for the mind, we're not offering a spiritual enlightenment service, and we're not on a journey of self-discovery with you. Instead, we promise to leave you (at least) feeling cleaner and better-smelling than you did ten minutes prior.

Each bar is carefully composed with only quality ingredients, thoughtfully chosen aromas and under the keen supervision of cats.
